What is PP and PP absolute filter cartridge
PP means polypropylene filter cartridge made of 100% polypropylene material. Polypropylene is one of those versatile filtration media which is most stable with most industrial fluids and is least reactive. They are made of food grade PP material which are thermally sealed and is free from adhesive.
Absolute PP pleated filters are constructed with 100% advanced PP materials and assembled by high technology thermal bonding equipment. Absolute PP pleated cartridges are offered in absolute rate Beta 5000(to 99.98%) retention efficiencies.
Feature:
PP absolute filter cartridge is made entirely of polypropylene (PP), a versatile and chemically resistant material.
- Pleated Design: The pleated design maximizes surface area for filtration, allowing for high flow rates and long service life.
- Absolute Filtration: They are designed for absolute filtration, meaning they have a specific pore size rating to remove particles down to that size, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
- Extensive chemical compatibility
- Gradient pore size design
- High efficiency particle retention rate to protect terminal filter sterilization safety
- No fiber shedding
Main applications for PP absolute filter cartridge:
Almost all common applications include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, cosmetics, and water treatment.
- Food and Beverage: Filtration of water, juices, wine, beer, and other beverages.
- Pharmaceutical: Filtration of pharmaceutical solutions, water for injection (WFI), and other critical fluids.
- Chemical Processing: Filtration of solvents, chemicals, and other process fluids.
- Cosmetics: Filtration of cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
- Water Treatment: Pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and other water treatment processes
Key Features and Benefits:
- High-Purity Filtration: Ensures removal of particles and microorganisms, resulting in high-quality filtered fluids.
- Chemical Compatibility: Polypropylene offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents.
- FDA Compliance: Many PP filter cartridges are designed to meet FDA regulations for food and beverage contact, ensuring safety and quality.
- Consistent Performance: The pleated design and high-quality materials ensure consistent filtration performance throughout the cartridge's lifespan.
- Easy Replacement: PP filter cartridges are designed for easy installation and replacement in standard housings.
- Wide Range of Options: Available in various sizes, pore sizes, and end cap configurations to suit different applications and housings.
- Cost-Effective: PP filter cartridges offer a balance of performance and cost-effectiveness.
MS PolyPure-AB series as one of the core advantage products, was specially designed for high retention efficiency, high flow rate and strict chemical compatibility requirements. It uses multi-layer polypropylene microfiber filter material, which is made through a hot-melt entangling process. It does not contain glue or chemical adhesives, ensuring no fiber shedding and media contamination.
Material: Full polypropylene structure, including filter material, support layer, shell and sealing components, resistant to strong acids, alkali and organic solvents.
Accuracy range: 0.1–30μm, supporting multiple scene requirements from fine filtration to pre-filtration.
Size: 5 inches to 40 inches, suitable for different flow needs.
